A poem I wrote for school.

The Winter Diamond

In summer you and me would play
On the Summer Diamond.
We would spend a lot of time
On that Summer Diamond.
But when Winter comes and Summer blows away,
So do all the footprints, on that Summer Diamond.
In Winter the warm memories
Get covered up with snow.
The Winter Diamond is cold and white
And has a cold a snowy blow.
But when Summer comes around again
The Diamond is a hit once more!
Then winter comes and we can't play
And it makes me very sad.
But who knows.
Maybe one day we'll get an indoor baseball field.
